Opportunities

NATIONAL EVENTS

We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities before and during the 2024 National Conference in Orlando, June 16-19, 2024.

Did you know that all of the harpist performers and presenters are also volunteers at the event?  They generously donate their time and talents to help build a spectacular program for our attendees, alongside our committees who make it all happen.  AHS asks them and all volunteers to be active AHS members and to register for the 2024 National Conference.  Keep in mind that registered family members accompanying you are also welcome to volunteer if they would like to participate.

Ready to pick your activities and time slots?  Review the area descriptions below, and then follow this link to sign up for your preferred times.

Work with local contacts/media to promote Discovery Day, concert ticket sales and general media promotion about conference coming to Orlando. LOCAL FUNDRAISING: Works closely with the AHS Executive Director to identify local sponsor prospects, and solicit and secure cash and in-kind commitments as appropriate.

AHJ EDITORIAL BOARD

Individuals are welcome to  submit nominations for others or themselves to serve on The American Harp Journal Editorial Board.  The nomination form is open year-round, and the pool of candidates is reviewed on an as-needed basis when those currently serving rotate off the Board.  There is no need to re-nominate someone from year to year.
