Thank you to every member, chapter leader, and board volunteer whose insights shaped this 2025 to 2030 Strategic Plan. Your responses to the 2024 membership and chapter leadership surveys, together with the Executive Committee’s guidance and our Executive Director’s support, highlighted the priorities of our membership. Guided by the AHS mission to celebrate our legacy, inspire excellence, and empower the next generation of harpists, this plan positions the Society for sustainable growth and deeper impact.
Over the next five years we will (1) engage a diverse, inclusive membership through equitable programming and mentorship, (2) advance knowledge and artistic innovation with affordable events, modern resources, and new music commissions, (3) strengthen national chapter connections by expanding leadership pipelines and communication tools, (4) deliver a seamless digital and brand experience through accessible technology, unified communications, and searchable archives, and (5) steward AHS resources responsibly by broadening fundraising, increasing transparency, and aligning programs with member priorities. We will implement these goals through measurable actions, share regular progress updates with you, and continually refine our approach. Together, these initiatives broaden inclusion, modernize resources, and ensure every harpist, whether student, adult lifelong learner, or professional, feels represented and supported by the American Harp Society.
