We caught up with Miya Otake, President of Aoyama Harp of Canada, Ltd., to learn a bit more about their upcoming presence at One Harp World. Check out the interview and learn a bit more about the goodies they have planned!
We are so excited about Aoyama's presence at One Harp World later this summer!
Miya Otake: Thank-you so much for your curiosity & excitement for AOYAMA HARPS at the One Harp World. It’s a privilege and honor to be featured in the AHS enewsletter. We are delighted to join the One Harp World Exhibition among at least 30 other exhibitors at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Toronto, Canada this summer from July 28th to August 3rd, 2026.
Can you tell us a little bit about your plans for the conference?
MO: Sure! Aoyama Harps will be at Exhibition Hall C showcasing our most popular 25 to 47 string harps and we are planning to give out some surprise prizes everyday during the week so stay tuned by following us on our Instagram @aoyamaharp for a chance to WIN!
What excites you most about One Harp World?
MO: This will be the historical event that both AHS & WHC join forces to create ONE HARP WORLD! How can you not be exited about that?! Correct me if I am wrong but I believe this is also the first time AHS is crossing over the northern border into CANADA.
What do you plan to display at the conference?
MO: Aoyama Harps will be bringing in across the Pacific Ocean and across the country some of our favorite concert pedal harps including the most popular Princess Sakura, Apollon, Monarch, Musa, Amphion, Orpheus, Vega, Etude, and at least 8 lever harps that you might just fall in love with especially with irresistible prices due to Japanese currency being the historical lowest in 15 years…
Anything new and noteworthy?
MO: Oh, yes, our Aoyama factory has built a harp especially to celebrate this unique Canadian occasion. We are going to revela it on Tuesday, July 28th @2:15 pm right after the One Harp World opening ceremony. Hope you can be there to share this special moment with us!
Is it true that you're giving away a harp at the conference?
MO: Gasp, how do you know that already?! Yeees, it’s true... But let’s keep it Shhhh!! Ok? Which one? Well, follow us on Instagram and stay tuned!
