Financial Support is available for attending to the AHS Conference, Summer Institute/National Conference and summer harp camps.

  • The Chapter Ambassador Awards is a matching awards program aimed at encouraging and supporting chapter fundraising initiatives that promote student participation in the 2019 AHS Camp Innovation and the 2019 Summer Institute. The intent in creating this pilot program is to inspire student engagement with the AHS national events; to promote community; and to empower recipients to create engagement opportunities within local harp communities.

Students who receive chapter support may apply for up to $500 in matching funds from the American Harp Society, Inc. to cover costs associated with attending the 2019 AHS Camp Innovation and Summer Institute. Chapters are encouraged to work with up to three (3) student members in applying for these matching awards. Award recipients will be designated Chapter Ambassadors, will receive special recognition at the AHS Summer Institute, and will be encouraged to interact with their communities when they get home, sharing what they learned with their chapter members, fellow students, and community partners.

For more information, download the Chapter Ambassador Awards guidelines here. The online application is now open for students who will need to have a commitment of support from their chapter.
