2. Only CD recordings will be accepted. Video tapes will not be accepted, nor will DAT cassettes.
3. Three copies of the preliminary CD are required.
EQUIPMENT:
The CD's may be made on either home or studio equipment. .
MAKING AND SUBMITTING
YOUR TAPE:
1. Record the required repertoire for the Division which you are entering. All repeats are optional. Leave approximately 5 seconds of space between compositions.
2. Please play all pieces straight through with no edits in the recording. You may stop recording between pieces or movements of a sonata. Please submit a recording that is representative of your normal performance and thereby avoid what otherwise would be a fruitless and costly trip.
3. Do not speak on the recording.
4. Print your name and address on separate pieces of paper inserted in the boxes, not on the recordings themselves or the boxes of the CD’s.
5. Mail the three clearly identified copies of the required preliminary CD along with your entry form to:
Dorothy Remsen, AHS Competition Office
6331 Quebec Drive, Hollywood CA 90068-2831
to arrive no later than the deadline of April 15, 2007
