A. American Harp Society Foundation, Inc. – established to support and enhance the educational projects of the American Harp Society.  (See also Scholarships for Advanced Study; Awards, Scholarships, and Prizes; and Performance Awards under the Competition Group above.)

B. American Harp Society, Inc.Endowment - The AHS Board of Directors established the Endowment Fund in 1986. The Board manages this Fund with the goal of providing a steady, reliable and growing source of income while observing the constraints of the Society’s IRS tax-exempt status. This income will ensure AHS’ continuing ability to address our goals, develop new programs in response to changing needs, and consistently improve the quality of our existing programs.

C. Financial Investment Advisory - to advise the Comptroller and the Executive Committee / Board of Directors on the Endowment Fund and to review the current investment policy.

D. Grandjany Centennial Fund - Contributions to the Grandjany Centennial Fund have made possible the production of a DVD, entitled “Marcel Grandjany - The Teacher - An Informal Overview,” an audio cassette, “Marcel Grandjany in Recital,” and a CD “Music for the Harp.”

E. Grants Program - to award up to $20,000 each fiscal year for five consecutive years, starting Fall 2010. Grant recipients are individuals or other non-profit organizations that have affiliations and common goals with the Society.

F. John Escosa Memorial Fund - to sponsor workshops at national conferences and institutes, to assist the AHS membership in developing a high standard of performance presentation and stage demeanor. Click here for more information.
